The Festival Foundation, a 501c3 was founded as the nonprofit, fundraising arm of the National Cherry Festival in 2007. In 2016, the National Cherry Festival, Inc. merged with The Festival Foundation aligning the festival's not-for-profit work with its correct status. The fiscal responsibilities and policy governance is overseen by the Board of Directors. The Operations of The Festival Foundation is overseen by the CEO and her staff.
The Festival Foundation does business as: National Cherry Festival, Iceman Cometh Challenge, CherryT Ball Drop and Leapin' Leprechaun.
The Festival Foundation hosts several different tax-deductible giving opportunities, including the
Growers Program, a monthly donation program, and A Very Cherry Legacy, for those who would like to make bequests to the Festival Foundation. If you'd like more information on either of these programs, we invite you to contact
